Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What's the difference between The Skins and the 'Shield' skins that cost $25 dollars (US)?
A. Other than price... it's the SAME THING. ;)

Q. Do you ship outside the USA?
A. Yes! We can ship almost anywhere in the world.

Q. Are the Skins durable?
A. Yes!

Q. Are the Skins removable?
A. Yes, but only when you want them to be. Skins are made to be a semi-permanent protection for your small electronic devices, but when you are ready to remove your Skin, it will come off.

Q. Will the Skins leave a bunch of adhesive goo behind when I take it off?
A. No.

Q. Will the Skin make my screen blurry?
A. No.

Q. Are the Skins scratch proof?
A. Almost. Skins have a forgiving, almost self-healing characteristic. They're not scratch proof but they're a lot less prone to scratching than the screens on today's small electronics. To our knowledge there isn't a product on the market that is actually scratch proof

Q. Do I really have to use water to apply the Skin?
A. Don't let this part scare you. If an iPod Nano can survive a trip through a washing machine and a dunk in a toilet, the Skin application process is a drop in the bucket. A small amount of water with a drop of mild liquid soap mixed in is all that's required to make a good solution. Use enough of this solution to provide your Skin with a thin film of solution to 'float' the skin on during application. This allows the skin to be moved around so you can get it into position. You may find that putting the application solution in a spray bottle and spraying the adhesive side of the skin is a good alternative to 'dipping' the skin into the application solution.
